Work Experience
Work experience can be a great help if you’re wondering what sort of career you might want in the future.A work placement is your opportunity to spend a period of time outside the classroom, learning about a particular job or area of work.
During your placement, you’ll be able to find out what skills employers look for when they’re hiring someone to fill a job vacancy.
You will also get the chance to develop your self-confidence and communication skills. This will help you to work better with other people in further or higher education, as well as in your future career. At Lord Lawson we offer all pupils in year 10 a 5-day placement. The dates this year are: Start: 29 June 2020We want this experience to be a valuable week for our pupils and are more than happy to talk about any questions or issues you might have that enable you to support your child both prior and during the 5-day placement.Mr A Rayner
