Prospective Year 7 Open Evening 2011

 

Lord Lawson of Beamish paid host to over 500 parents and prospective students on Thursday 6th October 2011.  Guests heard a presentation from the Headteacher, David Grigg, and then were guided around the building by staff.  There were a wide range of displays and exhibitions in which current Lord Lawson students played a very prominent role.

 

Lord Lawson staff were very well supported by their private sector partners who organised cleaning, catering, caretaking, grounds maintenance and technical support.

Any prospective parent who missed the evening is invited to contact the school to arrange a visit.  Copies of our prospecus are also available on request. Guidance for application for year 7 in September 2012 is available on the Gateshead Council website gateshead.gov.uk.
