PLTS DAY " Jack the Ripper "

Last month Yr8 experienced a PLTS Day. Say Two Productions performed an entertaining and enlightening production of ‘Jack the Ripper’.

 

After the show, Yr8 students had the chance to act out scenes from the show.

 

After break the students moved to classrooms to complete an Apprentice style task. In groups students had a brief to design 2 merchandise products that could be sold to promote the ‘Jack the Ripper’ production.

 

Students had 2 lessons to meet the deadline to present their products to their class. The winning entry from each class then presented the products to the ‘Panel’ – Mrs Heseltine, Mrs Taylor and Mrs Jordan.

 

Well done 8A for winning the competition overall.

 

There were so many star entries that the panel awarded several prizes for Innovation. Charity recognition and Respecting the Environment.

 

The next PLTS day for Yr8 is in July.
