Budding oligarchs hone commodities trading

skills at Lord Lawson.

 

Year 8 students were treated to a visit from BP's finest oil stockbrokers on Friday, learning the essential skills required to earn their fortunes in the global stock market.

 

They experienced the high pressured life of an international oil trader and put their numeracy skills to the test to work in teams to generate as much profit as possible.

 

They absolutely excelled at the task and Left BP's traders with in absolute awe of their ability. One trader was quoted as stating 'they are the cleverest children he had ever met and would definitely have a future commodities trading'. The students had an amazing time and I am extremely proud of them all and as always they were demonstrated themselves to be absolutely fantastic ambassadors of this outstanding school.
