Record Success in 2011 for

Lord Lawson Students

 

 

Students at Lord Lawson of Beamish School are once again celebrating record results, this time at GCSE. Over 98% of students achieved 5 or more high passes with most cahieving many more. Over 50 students achieved 5 or more A or A* grades and over 20 achieved 10 or more.

 

Some students performed outstandingly well, including Chris Hamilton who achieved 14 A grades, including 10 A*s; Emma Leyland with 14 As including 7 A*s; three students achieved 13 A grades: Charlotte Clark (8 A*s) and Aidan Beck (5 A*s) and Kelly Baldwin (6 A*s).

 

As always, we are delighted at the success of our students and look forward to welcoming them back into the sixth form in September.
