Another year another show! Billy Elliot proved to be an emotional journey for me personally coming from good Welsh mining stock! Community spirit is present in abundance as ‘Miners’ and ‘Scabs’ unite in giving Billy the opportunity to train with the Royal ballet.

 

The show certainly proved to be one of our most popular productions ever, Kleenex being used by the audience throughout! A fabulously talented cast ranging from the outrageous Mrs Wilkinson (Georgie Hulland); the amazing Billy (Kyle Jones); the mad, pasty seeking grandma (Chantelle Stewart) and the wonderful cameo from our own Big Billy (Jordan Todd).

 

A huge team effort is always required in putting on a school production and I know I had the best team of students and staff.
