Year 8 World Record Event

A recent event organised for the whole of Year 8 was extremely well received. Comments ranging from 'it was fun' to 'I enjoyed everything about it' were written on their feedback questionnaires.

Seventeen activities were organised and our Year 8 students (and some staff) set about the challenge of trying to set a new world record. The activities included card throwing, spoon balancing, sugar cube tower, cup stacking, blowing a golf ball, grape throwing and many more!

Whilst many 'unofficial' records seem to have been broken, the main aim was to have fun. Why not look at our photos and judge for yourself whether the main aim was achieved.......
