Promoting School Attendance

Hays Travel in partnership with Gateshead Education Welfare Service.

Hays travel have been working in partnership with Gateshead education welfare service to raise awareness of the importance of both regular and punctual school attendance and the potential impact on a childs life chances. Regular attendance and arriving on time every day are vital if your child is to reach their full potential.

At present Hays Travel offer 10% discount on holidays booked during the school holiday periods.

 

However in addition, they have offered a three night break for a family of four to Disneyland Paris, which is to be used as a prize for achieving 100% attendance and punctuality in Gateshead Schools.

 

Lord Lawson School is setting an attendance and punctuality initiative from Monday 20th April until Friday 10th July. The names of all Year 7 – Year 10 students who attend school every day and arrive on time will be entered into a draw and one lucky winner in Gateshead will win the family holiday.
