Volunteering at Gibside Gardens
Links with the Community
Fleet prefects went to Gibside recently to do some voluntary outdoor work. They started by following a trail through the Gardens and thinking of ways to improve it.
Next they went on a buggy car, and were taken up into the woods to do something called 'Roddy-bashing' - (cutting down and clearing away any rhododendrons!!) Just as we finished that task the heavens opened and we all got soaked.
