Make students dream come true!
Over the past few months year 13's Chris Felton and Melissa Thompson have been competing not only with each other but also against ten other contestants in a region-wide competition on 102.8 & 106.8 Durham FM. The competition is called "The Dream Academy" and all twelve contestants had to each present the evening show on the station for a week (7-10pm Mon-Fri).
The first round took place during the holidays; the station judges whittled the competitors down from twelve to eight...with both Chris and Melissa making it through to the second round!
They then both presented the show for another week at the start of this term, and now that round two has finished it is up to YOU to vote for them to put them into the final four!
At the end of each week for four weeks the person with the highest vote count will be called up to do their final week on air, with the winner being announced on Christmas Eve...the winner will secure a contract with the station!!
