A-Level Results Out

We are delighted to report that our students have, once again performed at the highest levels in their A levels this year. The average point score of 651 was significantly higher than last year and among the best the school has achieved.


There are some outstanding individual performances, including Elaine Grant who achieved 5 grade A’s and has won a place at Newhall College, Cambridge. She achieved an unprecedented maximum marks in her Physics examination. With an A grade in Music last year, Elaine has now 6 grade A’s at A level to add to her 13 grade A* grades at GCSE.


Twins Natasha and Krystal Telfer achieved a staggering 10 A grades between them. Natasha has won a place at Pembroke College, Oxford with 5 grade A’s and sister Krystal is to study at Edinburgh University.


Other students achieved outstanding results: Catherine White and Michelle Bratton both achieved 4 A grades and Sophie Cassidy achieved 3 A grades.


Almost all students have gained entrance to the University of their choice.
