19-17 to Lord Lawson of Beamish School


St Thomas More opened the match with a try from sloppy play from Lord Lawson but failed to score the conversion: 5-0 to St Thomas More. Lord Lawson came back in with good play by the right side of the pitch as Rhys ran from the 22 yard line to score a try. Patrick soon converted the try: 7-5 to Lord Lawson. Lord Lawson won a scrum and Patrick scored again for Lord Lawson. He then converted the try to make the score was 14-5. Nathan Burnett came on to replace an injured Liam Stott. St Thomas More were slow to react as they scored another try but failed to convert.


Jordan Patterson made two tremendous tackles as Patrick broke down the wing to score yet again, but did not succeed in converting: Score 19-10. A great tackle but that lead to a St Thomas More break and they scored a try and finally converted to make the score 19-17. In the last minutes Jordan Basto kicked the ball clear and out of touch as the whistle blew to make the final score 19-17 to Lord Lawson.
