Northern Bursars Forum
Lord Lawson of Beamish School hosted the 1st regional conference for the Northern Bursars Forum (NBF) on Wednesday 13th April.
There were more than 70 delegates from schools across the North East who attended the event. There were several presentations delivered by William Simmons, Chief Executive of the National Bursars Association and by Albert Leaf from the Learning Skills Council, covering schools finance, workforce reform and Investor in People / training.
The conference was organized by the committee members of the NBF, the treasurer of which is our very own Director of Support Services, Iain Beveridge but the key to its success was support of the delegates and the amount of help and support provided by the support staff at Lord Lawson of Beamish School . The evaluation of the event was very positive and delegates were clearly impressed with the success of the school and with the professionally presented conference.
