Mobile Device Policy
The policy is that students are encouraged not to bring a mobile device onto the school site (please see the policy for an explanation of what we mean by ‘mobile device’). If they choose to bring in a mobile device, it must be turned off and stored out of sight as soon as students enter the inner gate of the school. If parents are concerned that your child has a genuine (i.e. medical) reason why they need to use their mobile device in the academy, please contact the academy so it can be authorised.
If you need to contact your child urgently, please ring the academy on 0191 433 4026 and we will get a message to them. If your child needs to contact you urgently, they can do this via their house block or through Reception. See policy document below.
