• A two year course which commences in year 12.
• Six lessons per week.
• Four written test papers.
• Practical assessment is ongoing throughout the two years.

BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Hairdressing

• Carried out over a 1 year period in year 11.
• Four units in the 1 year period.
• 3 compulsory core units and 1 specialist unit.
