GCSE English Literature
Students have to complete 3 pieces of coursework totalling 30% of their final grade. These are:
1.) Shakespeare
2.) Post 1914 drama text
3.) Pre-1914 Prose text
The written exam completes the other 70%. The exam is in two sections
Section A – One question on a previously studied post 1914 prose text
Section B – One question on previously studied pre- and post-1914 poetry from the GCSE Anthology.
